"VODKA" an explanation of Terminology

Prestige Essences are made in Sweden and the use of the term "Vodka" may not be what you understand it to mean. In this case "Vodka" does mean the branded Vodka with an alcohol concentration of 40%. It refers to any alcohol and water, irrespective of the percentage alcohol in the mixture. The mixing instructions on the bottles refer to mixing the essence with "Vodka".

It may be helpful if you consider the percentage alcohol in similar commercial products to determine the "strength" of the "Vodka" you might use to make your liquors and liqueurs.
