Lagoon City is a small community on the east shore of Lake Simcoe – twenty-five minutes south of Orillia, fifteen minutes north of Beaverton, just west of Brechin off Highway 12.

We have approximately 2000 residents including working adults, school children and retired people. We have about 830 homes comprised of single family dwellings and condominiums. The condos range in size from one-story one-bedroom units to three story three-bedroom units with space for boat docking under your deck. The homes come in all sizes and shapes. Ninety per cent of our residences are on lagoons, which have access to Lake Simcoe.

We have a time share facility at Harbour Inn, a yacht club, two marinas and several restaurants.

Our community association has a membership of about 450 households. We own our community centre, which is the hub of activity for our members. There is at least one activity going on each day of the week. We produce ten newsletters a year which are very professional looking and extremely informative.
