The LCCA has a very active Social Committee whose job it is to plan social events for the benefit of our membership.

Almost all the events with the exception of our monthly Happy Hour are for active members only and require a full membership to attend. We canvass our membership on a regular basis regarding events that they would like to see included.

Regular events include a "Wings Night" once a month from October to May. Each night has a different theme and entertainment and admission includes a three-course meal with choice of entrée.

From October to June we have a "Happy Hour" on the first Saturday of each month. This event is open to members and non-members and the hosts provide sandwiches and appetizers – you bring your own refreshments.

In the summer we run a BBQ every other Tuesday for our membership starting in June and finishing in August.

During the year we plan several other activities usually on a weekend so that all our members can participate.

These include a Poker Run, Car Rally, Halloween Party, Pancake Breakfasts, Chilli Supper and Tree Lighting, New Year’s Eve Party, Robbie Burns Night, Beat the Blahs Day, Sock Hop, Murder Mystery Night as well as other events.
